These beloved furry animals live mostly secret lives, away from the hustle and bustle of the world, in their underground burrows. They live with their families and have a strong sense of community. They have an super sensitive sense of smell - 800 times more than us! They keep their homes clean and cosy, replacing their beds with clean leaves & grass daily. Badger setts can be over 100 years old - passed down through generations of badgers.
As they spend most of their time underground we rarely get to see these lovable animals, but they still need our help (for example badger hair is still used widely in cosmetic brushes).
