Blue Lobster Womens Sweatshirt - Unisex
Gorgeous blue lobster motif sweatshirt that supports marine life conservation in the UK.
THIS ECO SWEATSHIRT HELPS BABY LOBSTERS! For every sale of this product, 15% of the profits will be donated to The National Lobster Hatchery in Padstow 💙
The NLH is a pioneering marine conservation, research & education charity that aims to conserve native lobster populations. Baby lobsters are raised at the hatchery until they reach a life stage at which they are better able to survive in the wild. At this point they are released back into our waters with the help of local fishermen and dive schools.
The NLH's innovative hatchery techniques help to improve juvenile lobster survival rate by around 1,000 times, compared to those born naturally in the wild.
Lobsters never stop growing - but we don't really know how long they live because lobster traps are only designed to catch smaller lobsters. They're tricky to catch as well because they will eat each other if they're hungry and there's no other tasty snacks available! They have teeth in their stomachs - well sort of - they use a gastric mill-like process to break up their food in their stomachs. Proportionally they are super strong - one claw can exert 100 pounds of pressure per square inch! Definitely a contender for Deadly 60!
EVE Vegan approved 85% Organic Ring-Spun Combed Cotton & 15% Recycled Polyester. Organic cotton is better for the planet, the farmers & your skin.
This eco-friendly & ocean saving sweater is embroidered to-order in our Bournemouth studio and shipped in plastic free packaging.
